I was in the market for a new BJJ Gi, and this one absolutely stood out as I was scrolling through Amazon. As a Bruce Lee fan growing up, this ‘Game of Death’ inspired Kimono was a fun and creative addition to my training gear.
I am 5,11 weighing 155-165 lbs and I am an A2. Thus far I’ve only used it twice and machine washed with cold water to hang dry twice. The color is still bright and no shrinkage! It comes with that cool little bag you see in the picture, however the one thing which could have made this purchase even better is if the uniform came with the draw string for the pants. I am sure this was just a 1 time order incident but this was not a huge deal for me. I just happened to have had an extra draw string for the pants and it was off to training.
This Gi was actually not as expensive as I previously thought and the material inside the lapel feels very nice against my skin.
Pros- Looks awesome, lightweight, vibrant color, great fit, strong material and fair price.
Cons- Not an IBJJF approved color!
